Cupsogue is a 296-acre barrier beach park at the western end of Dune Road. Suffolk County describes lifeguard-supervised swimming on white sand, good saltwater bass fishing and a bay side where diving is allowed at slack tide. Campers and recreational vehicles use the access road along the outer beach.

Cost

The county’s fee schedule lists $9 per vehicle for residents with a Green Key and $18 for non-residents, cash. Seniors, veterans and other discounted categories with a Green Key pay $0. No residency test applies to the $18 rate, which makes Cupsogue the cheapest day-parking option for a non-resident near Westhampton Beach.

Neither the Town’s Pikes Beach sticker nor a Westhampton Beach Village pass is valid here. See the Westhampton Beach town page, the Suffolk County Parks page and Pikes Beach for comparison. The beach itself is described by Hamptons Beach Day.
