Weekday rule
The Town’s daily parking table lists Flying Point as Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. That differs from Hampton Bays beaches, which sell day parking all seven days. Pre-season weekday parking and sunset parking use the same $20 rates as other Town beaches.
Trustee access roads at Flying Point Road, including the Bulkhead and Mecox Inlet ends, need a Town permit but have no lifeguards, and the Town says swimming is not recommended there. For rentals in the area, Hamptons Key lists Water Mill homes. See Water Mill.
Alcohol, glass and dog restrictions at Flying Point Beach follow the Town’s beach ordinances, which close the beaches at 9 p.m. and are listed on the Town of Southampton permit page. A Village of Southampton or Suffolk County sticker is not valid here. Beach conditions are on Hamptons Beach Day.
