Hither Hills State Park sits between Amagansett and Montauk on Montauk Highway. State Parks charges a vehicle use fee at most of its parks, varying by location and season, and lists a fee for Hither Hills. The fee is the whole ticket: nobody asks where you live.

The fee and the pass

We could not retrieve the current daily fee or gate dates because the State Parks site blocked our automated check, so read them on the official page. The Empire Pass is a separate annual card State Parks prices at $80. It gives unlimited day-use entry at most facilities run by State Parks and the Department of Environmental Conservation.

If you hold a Town of East Hampton sticker, it is not what you need here. The non-resident access guide compares this entry with the Suffolk County parks. Montauk has the town context, Napeague Lane Beach is a Town landing nearby, and Hamptons Beach Day covers the beach and campground.
