Kirk Park Beach is the Montauk beach with the most forgiving rules for visitors. Town code allows daily parking there every day, not only weekdays, and the Town prices it at $35 for an 8-hour session. A Town permit holder skips the fee.
How to pay
Follow the posted instructions: scan the QR code, text to pay or call the number on the sign. The Town’s page describes the session as eight hours. Keep your receipt until you leave.
At the beach
There is a food truck, accessible restrooms (mid-May through mid-October) and lifeguards from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. when on duty. The beach is open year-round. No camping, no littering and no smoking within 500 feet of protected swimming areas.
Compare with Ditch Plains, which is residents only, and South Edison, which sells 4-hour and 8-hour sessions. If you are weighing a Montauk rental against a beach-permit cost, read the East Hampton renter guide. Conditions and what to pack are on Hamptons Beach Day.
