Town permit, not a village sticker
The Town of Southampton’s resident sticker needs a registration at a physical Town address, and the Town’s facility page lists the site as an ocean beach with parking and showers. The Town also lists Peters Pond Lane in Sagaponack as a Trustee access road, which takes a Town permit but has no lifeguards.
Daily parking works Monday to Friday except holidays. On weekends only a Town permit will do. See Sagaponack, the Southampton renter guide and Hamptons Key rentals in Sagaponack.
Alcohol, glass and dog restrictions at Sagg Main Beach follow the Town’s beach ordinances, which close the beaches at 9 p.m. and are listed on the Town of Southampton permit page. A Village of Southampton or Suffolk County sticker is not valid here. Beach conditions are on Hamptons Beach Day.
