Atlantic Avenue Beach parking and permits

Atlantic Avenue Beach is the one Amagansett ocean beach where a visitor can pay at the lot. The price is $50 a day, and Town code limits daily permits to weekdays. On a summer Saturday the only way in by car is a Town parking permit.

Daily parking details

The code spells it out: daily parking permits are issued Monday through Friday, excluding Memorial Day, Labor Day and Independence Day. None is issued on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday from 12:01 a.m. on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through 11:59 p.m. on the Monday of Labor Day weekend. Buy on site or at the kiosk if one is provided. Vehicles with a valid Town permit do not pay.

At the beach

The beach has a concession stand, accessible restrooms (open mid-May through mid-October) and a surf wheelchair when lifeguards are on duty. No alcohol is allowed within 1,000 feet of the road end during lifeguard hours.
