Foster Memorial (Long) Beach parking and permits

Foster Memorial (Long) Beach is a bay beach on Noyac Bay run by the Town of Southampton, not Sag Harbor Village. It is also the only Town beach with a special permit for neighbors across the town line: East Hampton Town residents who live in Sag Harbor Village can buy a Long Beach-only permit.

Paying and permits

Everyone else uses a standard Town permit or the Passport app at $40 a day, available seven days a week. That includes cheaper pre-season weekday and sunset parking at $20. If you are a Sag Harbor Village resident who pays taxes to East Hampton Town, bring the matching tax bill and vehicle registration.

Alcohol, glass and dog restrictions at Foster Memorial (Long) Beach follow the Town’s beach ordinances, which close the beaches at 9 p.m. and are listed on the Town of Southampton permit page. A Village of Southampton or Suffolk County sticker is not valid here. Beach conditions are on Hamptons Beach Day.
