Sag Harbor straddles two towns and sells beach parking through three different systems. The Village controls Havens Beach. The Town of Southampton controls Long Beach in Noyac. East Hampton Town permits cover the part of the village inside East Hampton Town for Town beaches. If you rent here, start with the Sag Harbor renter guide.

Havens Beach

Havens Beach is the Village’s public bathing beach on Sag Harbor Bay. All-day parking is allowed with a valid Village parking permit, and ParkMobile registration is not required if you hold one. Everyone else pays by ParkMobile app or kiosk. In 2025 The East Hampton Star reported the daily rate at $15, with paid parking running from June 14 to September 4. The Village sets each season’s rate, so read the signs and the app.

Village resident permits

The Village issued 2026 resident permits online and in person at the Village Office on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon. Online applications were processed within 48 to 72 hours. The permit goes on the outside of the driver’s-side rear window. It also allows four-hour parking in the municipal lots at 5 Bridge Street and 51 Meadow Street.

The 2025 rules, as reported at the time, gave Village residents two free stickers and a third for $15, and let people living outside the Village but inside the Sag Harbor Fire and School Districts buy up to three at $15 each. The Village’s 2026 sheet is the final word.

Long Beach in Noyac

Foster Memorial (Long) Beach belongs to Southampton Town, which means a Village sticker is useless there. Southampton sells East Hampton Town residents who live inside Sag Harbor Village a Long Beach-only permit. Everyone else uses a Southampton Town permit or daily parking by app. The Southampton Town page has the prices.

Which side of the line are you on?

Sag Harbor Village sits partly in the Town of East Hampton and partly in Southampton Town. East Hampton Town code treats the East Hampton portion of the village as inside the Town for resident purposes, which is why that portion of the village can get a Town of East Hampton resident permit. Check your tax bill for the town name before you apply. For rentals, Hamptons Key lists Sag Harbor homes.

Common questions

Where is Long Beach and who runs it?

Long Beach, formally Foster Memorial (Long) Beach, is at 1000 Long Beach Road in Noyac. The Town of Southampton runs it, so you need a Southampton Town permit or Passport daily parking.

Do East Hampton Town residents in Sag Harbor Village get a discount at Long Beach?

Yes. Southampton Town sells a Long Beach-only permit to East Hampton Town residents living inside Sag Harbor Village at $50 online and $60 at peak pricing, with a current Sag Harbor tax bill.
