Sag Harbor beach permits and parking

Sag Harbor straddles the line between Southampton Town and East Hampton Town, and its beach access follows suit. The Village sells its own parking permit for Havens Beach. Long Beach, formally Foster Memorial Beach in Noyac, is run by Southampton Town. East Hampton Town residents who live inside the Village get a Long Beach-only permit. Beaches in Sag Harbor

The Village page covers Havens Beach. The Southampton Town page covers Long Beach. Ocean beaches near Sag Harbor, such as Sagg Main and Mecox, are Southampton Town permit beaches, and Amagansett’s Atlantic Avenue Beach is the nearest East Hampton Town ocean beach with daily parking.

Choosing

If you have a Sag Harbor resident sticker, Havens Beach is the easy one. If you are staying with a rental in the village, park once, then walk or bike. The Town’s Long Beach has seven-day daily parking by app.
