What counts

A Village permit is a digital plate-linked permit or a sticker with your plate on it. Plate scanners enforce it. A Town of East Hampton sticker is not valid, and the Village does not refund a wrong purchase. The 2026 non-resident prices were $750 for the season and $250 to $300 for a month.

Rules that apply

  • No vehicles on Village beaches from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., May 15 to September 15.
  • Dogs are not allowed on Village beaches 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in that period; leash within 300 feet of ocean road ends otherwise.
  • Lifeguards cover the swimming area from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. when open.

See East Hampton for the village’s other beaches and the Village permit page for sales dates. Hamptons Beach Day describes the beach.
