Do not confuse it with the marine park
The Town also sells a permit for the Ed Warner Sr. Old Ponquogue Bridge Marine Park, a boat launch site. That permit costs $125 to $135 for Suffolk County residents and is required around the clock to launch a boat. It is not a beach permit.
Hampton Bays residents who rent year-round qualify for the resident sticker with a registration at a Town address. Seasonal renters buy the non-resident permit or pay by app. See the Southampton renter guide and Hampton Bays.
Alcohol, glass and dog restrictions at Ponquogue Beach follow the Town’s beach ordinances, which close the beaches at 9 p.m. and are listed on the Town of Southampton permit page. A Village of Southampton or Suffolk County sticker is not valid here. Beach conditions are on Hamptons Beach Day.
