Hampton Bays beach permits and parking

Hampton Bays beaches run on Southampton Town permits, with $40 daily parking seven days a week at Ponquogue and Tiana, plus Suffolk County parks at $18 for non-residents.

Town of Southampton
Ponquogue and Tiana: $50 to $60 resident, $500 to $525 non-resident, $40 daily
Suffolk County
Meschutt (bay) and Shinnecock East: $18 non-resident
Renter route
Year-round tenants resident; seasonal renters non-resident or daily

Hampton Bays is the easiest place on the South Fork to get on a beach without a resident sticker. Two Town ocean beaches, Ponquogue and Tiana, sell day parking seven days a week, and two Suffolk County parks sell $18 parking to anyone. Renting here is simpler than in the villages. See the Southampton renter guide.
