Seasonal renter inside the Village
The Village charges $650 plus $3 per photo ID card. The pass is 4 walk-on passes and 1 parking permit. For the Village to issue it, the landlord must have an approved Village rental permit on file and complete a summer rental application with the building department. The landlord must also agree to give up their own beach sticker. You show a driver’s license and car registration.
Seasonal renter outside the Village
For the hamlets of Westhampton, Remsenburg, Speonk and Quiogue, a seasonal renter pays $975 plus $3 per photo ID. The Village asks for a letter from the homeowner giving permission to transfer the permit, plus the Town tax bill. A year-round resident of those same hamlets pays $650, with a 10 percent discount for veterans.
Year-round renter in the Village

If the price is too high
| Option | Cost | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Pikes Beach | $40 a day by Passport app | Town of Southampton; 7 days |
| Cupsogue County Park | $18 per vehicle | Non-resident rate; outer-beach vehicle permit separate |
| Rogers or Lashley pass | $650 or $975 | The Village’s own beaches |
A $975 pass is 54 days at Cupsogue’s $18 rate, so a short stay costs less with day parking. For the Village rules see the permit page.
Common questions
Why does my landlord have to give up their sticker?
The Village issues a seasonal renter's pass in place of the owner's. The landlord completes a Summer Rental application with the Village building department and agrees to give up their beach sticker.
What is Quiogue?
The Village's chart names Quiogue, a hamlet within Westhampton, spelled differently from Quogue Village. Renters in Westhampton, Remsenburg, Speonk or Quiogue use the $975 category.
Can a lease prove I am a year-round renter?
No. The chart says no leases are accepted. A winter utility bill with your name and address, plus your license and registration, is the proof.
